At Thrive Together Homecare, we seek to promote wellness for the “whole being.” We believe that the overall wellness of a person is dependent upon many interdependent parts that make up the whole being. This is why we believe that a holistic approach is critical to the overall wellness of those that we serve. We take into account the following interdependent categories, that make up the “whole being,” in the delivery of care:
- The Body. By design, the body needs nutrition, sleep, exercise, and rejuvenation.
- The Mind. The mind requires proper stimulation, curiosity, wonder, and creative expression.
- The Spirit. Practices and rituals that connect us with something larger than ourselves and give a purpose and meaning beyond oneself.
- Relationships and Community. We were not designed to be isolated, but to be in connection with others, family, friends, loved ones, neighbors, and the community.
- Culture. Values and traditions — including art, performances, ceremonies, rites, crafts, and ways of life — would one like to bring into the present and preserve for the future.
- Environment. The areas in which we live in, our neighborhood, geography, flora, and fauna.
We not only use a holistic approach for the delivery of care, our business model also uses a holistic approach. “Togetherness” is the very core foundation in which Thrive Together Homecare was established. We are passionate about delivering God-honoring care though a holistic approach that creates a community of care, empathy, and togetherness because we believe that two are better than one. Statistics confirm that societies with organizations working together, to achieve one common goal, out perform societies that lack unity and cohesiveness. We believe that a holistic approach is not only essential to our survival as an organization, but also critical to the existence of a healthy functioning society.
