All skilled nursing care is supervised by our professional Director of Nursing who is a registered nurse. Skilled nursing services may be provided on a short or long term basis, depending upon the medical needs and doctor’s orders. Skilled nursing care that can be provided in the home includes:
- Acute or chronic disease management
- Blood draws and injections
- Blood sugar testing
- Infusion therapy
- Medication setup, administration and oversight
- Monitor and assess vital signs
- Ostomy and urinary catheter maintenance
- Private duty nursing hospice assistance
- Wound care
